Bring some glass with some ‘horsepower’ since they have not brought the pool up to maximum but I counted 18 swans yesterday am and look for more to start showing up soon.
Good luck and have fun.
Thanks for the picture and exposure info Bill. Looking forward to finding the swans too!
Happy Thanksgiving to you and Molly!
Carolyn
Same back at you Miss Beans
Molly reported that there were a ‘ton’ (her term) of swans at Heron Pond this morning. I was up at Duck Hollow freezing in a duck blind looking at empty blue bird sky.
Glad one of the Coatney clan saw birds 🙂
Hi Bill, glad to see the swans are back. What camera were you using for the photo? I heard that a few eagles were spotted, did you see any?
Hey Lee
Both Molly and I are using old Canon 40D’s. The old 1D and 1DMKIIN found a new home with KEH this week.
Thinking of getting a new camera but we have to sell the house first.
Eagles??? Yes, we saw a couple but we were without cameras….it was a ‘chore’ day and we were just passing thru on our way to complete some errands.
Today (Tuesday 11/24) saw a big mature bald eagle as we were driving out and there was a immature over on Ellis Island in the trees.
